Mission

The Alliance for Low Input Sustainable Turf (A-LIST), a non-profit organization that evaluates and promotes high turf quality while benefiting the environment through turfgrass varieties that require less water, fertilizer, chemicals, and pesticides. This is accomplished by creating industry trial guidelines and evaluation protocols.

ABOUT

Alliance for Low Input Sustainable Turf

Headquartered in the heart of Oregon’s Willamette Valley grass seed production region, A-LIST is an 503(c)(3) non-profit comprised of universities and industry companies serving to test, identify, and promote grass varieties that combine high turf quality and low-input performance. We provide information on certified, high quality turf that is verified via transparent protocols and independently tested at leading regional universities. Products that meet the acceptance criteria are allowed to utilize the A-LIST approved symbol in their marketing and receive the A-LIST approved tag for use in packaging.
